Not all anime is made to entertain otaku or sell toys. Get an audio-visual introduction to rare and unusual anime that viewers outside of Japan rarely see and typical otaku frequently overlook. See samples of contemporary educational anime, political and religious propaganda anime, public service anime, unusual advertising anime, and many other types of anime that you probably never knew existed.

The world of anime if vast and infinite. While many great titles that started life on tape here in America have made the journey to DVD, there are still quite a number that have since faded with the VCR. We
explore some of these titles, as well as the crazy world of anime VHS and the joys of choosing sub or dub, two episodes-per-tape, ridiculous storage requirements, and more!
